Modern literature has become increasingly prosperous with the help of newspapers and periodicals, and modern newspapers and periodicals have provided a powerful communication tool for literature. Newspapers and periodicals have changed the mode of literary production and have had a tremendous impact on the language, concept, style, reception and many other aspects of modern literature. Newspapers and periodicals are an important force in promoting the transformation of Chinese literature from classical to modern. Although this transformation was imperfect, it opened the curtain on the modernization of Chinese literature and laid the foundation for the comprehensive transformation of literature initiated by the May Fourth New Culture Movement. The authors are young and middle-aged experts in this field, and the articles cover many aspects of modern newspapers and literary transformation, and have important academic value for promoting research in this field.
