Based on a study of South-South cooperation and the characteristics of foreign aid from emerging market countries, this book specifically discusses the foreign aid and its management of India, Brazil, South Africa, Mexico, Colombia, Indonesia, and Turkey, the study of which is conducive to grasping the characteristics of South-South cooperation and its differences from the foreign aid policies and management of developed countries. In particular, the book explores China's foreign aid policy and management, including the motivation and principles, formation and development, current situation and trends, organization and management, challenges and reforms of China's foreign aid. Through the study, it can be found that the foreign aid of emerging market countries is characterized by typical South-South cooperation, which is reflected in the application of its principles of foreign aid and long-accumulated experience of development and poverty reduction in foreign aid, as well as in the management system that shows the differences and gaps between them and developed countries, which provides a direction for thinking about the reform of the foreign aid of the emerging market countries and the future development of South-South cooperation.
