刘晖教授自1986年公开发表第一篇学术论文，迄今已过30多年。本书汇集其三十载学术思考之代表作，每年一篇，凡30篇论文，反映其在教育基本理论、高等教育学原理、国际比较教育等领域的学术研究心得。每篇篇首简述当时的写作背景、学术生态和主观感悟，以见微知著，鉴往知未。本书既是一部学者个人的学术思想探究史，也折射出我国改革开放以来的教育学术研究历程，体现个人叙事与宏大叙事的时代呼应。

It has been more than 30 years since Professor Liu Hui published his first academic paper in 1986. This book brings together his representative works of 30 years of academic thinking, one paper per year, and 30 papers, reflecting his academic research experience in the fields of basic theory of education, principles of higher education, and international comparative education. At the beginning of each article, the writing background, academic ecology and subjective perception at that time are briefly described in order to see the small things and learn from the past. This book is not only a history of scholars' personal academic thought exploration, but also reflects the educational and academic research process of education since China's reform and opening up, reflecting the echo of personal narratives and grand narratives.
