Abstract: In 2016, the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism has entered its fifth year. In recent years, China-CEEC cooperation has achieved rich results, especially the gradual development and deepening of bilateral cooperation in the economic and trade fields. This report shows the progress of China-CEEC economic and trade cooperation in the past five years, combined with the business environment of CEEC countries, the establishment of bilateral cooperation research system between China and CEEC countries and index calculation. The basic idea of this report is to establish two indicator systems, "Business Environment of Central and Eastern European Countries" (X-axis) and "Bilateral Cooperation between China and CEEC Countries" (Y-axis), through which the progress of the 16 CEEC countries in the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism is vividly displayed, and at the same time evaluate the business environment of CEEC countries and the dynamic relationship between China-CEEC bilateral cooperation. The innovation of this report is the establishment of the "China-CEEC Economic and Trade Cooperation Progress Coordinate Map", which shows the progress of China-CEE economic and trade cooperation at a glance. The calculation of the business environment index system of CEEC countries and the index system of bilateral cooperation between China and CEEC countries uses more than 100 macro index data, and combines mathematical models for index calculation and expression, aiming to comprehensively, scientifically and objectively show the business environment of CEEC countries and the level of bilateral cooperation between China and CEECs. The indicator data are mainly derived from authoritative databases of the World Bank, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and other internationally renowned institutions, all of which are analyzed and processed with the latest version. This report is one of the research results of the innovation project "European Economic Competitiveness" of the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the report has also been partially funded by the Research Fund on China-CEEC Relations and the construction of high-end think tanks of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In this report, the project leader is Professor Chen Xin, Director of the Economic Research Office of the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the research group member is Assistant Professor Yang Chengyu. During the research process, Associate Researcher Hu Kun, Researcher Kong Tianping, Researcher Liu Zuokui, and Assistant Researcher Li Qize of the Institute of European Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences provided valuable suggestions for this report, and I would like to express my gratitude. This report is an academic result, based on data, does not take a specific position on any of the 16 CEE countries involved, and the research results do not represent any official position. The data is as of the end of July 2016.(AI翻译)
