本书在理顺发展经济学理论脉络基础上，研究了中国的经济发展和减贫理念与模式，以对新发展经济学理论的发展提供例证，在此基础上，利用新发展经济学的理论框架，分析非洲目前应如何充分发挥其自然资源与劳动力优势，利用援助、贸易和投资等手段，实行结构调整和经济转型，实现可持续性经济增长并消除贫困，并探讨中国发展与减贫经验对其他发展中国家特别是非洲国家结构调整、经济发展与减贫的重要作用；在实证上，本书通过对中国对非援助及中国对非投资对非洲经济增长、减贫的作用的计量分析和案例分析，探讨在非洲的经济发展和减贫过程中，中国对非援助、贸易和投资能否更好地促进了非洲各国实行符合其比较优势的发展战略，从而实现非洲长期可持续的增长和贫困的根除。

On the basis of rationalizing the theoretical context of development economics, this book studies China's economic development and poverty reduction concepts and models, in order to provide examples for the development of new development economics theory, and on this basis, using the theoretical framework of new development economics, this book analyzes how Africa should now give full play to its natural resources and labor advantages, use aid, trade and investment and other means to carry out structural adjustment and economic transformation, achieve sustainable economic growth and eradicate poverty. It also discusses the important role of China's development and poverty reduction experience in structural adjustment, economic development and poverty reduction in other developing countries, especially African countries. Empirically, this book explores whether China's aid, trade and investment in Africa can better promote African countries to implement development strategies in line with their comparative advantages through econometric analysis and case analysis of the role of China's aid to Africa and China's investment in Africa's economic growth and poverty reduction, so as to achieve long-term sustainable growth and poverty eradication in Africa.
