本书所选篇目系中华人民共和国成立以来在我国当代文学史上具有一定影响或者某一方面的代表性作品，反映了70年来我国当代文学发展的历史轨迹和创作概貌。篇目以小说、诗歌、散文和戏剧为序分单元编排，同一单元作品则按发表时间先后为序。本书在每篇作品后面均附有800-1000字的解析，以帮助读者阅读理解。因篇幅所限，部分中、长篇小说和戏剧以存目形式出现。

The selected articles in this book are representative works that have a certain influence or a certain aspect in the history of contemporary literature in China since the founding of the People's Republic of China, reflecting the historical trajectory and creative overview of the development of contemporary literature in China over the past 70 years. The articles are arranged in the order of novels, poems, essays and plays, and works in the same unit are in order of publication. The book is accompanied by an 800-1000 word analysis at the end of each work to help readers understand the reading. Due to space constraints, some novels and plays appear in the form of a list.
