China's economic miracle is the most brilliant rainbow in world history at the turn of the millennium. The causes of miracles cannot be solved only from the perspective of economics or from the perspective of economics. This book borrows from Douglas North's model of institutional change and gives new meaning to ideological variables; Reinterpreting Marx's ideological concept, getting out of the misunderstanding of ideological falsehood in Western Marxism, and finding a theoretical path from false to true. This book argues that in 1978, from the great discussion on the criterion of truth to the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the ideological paradigm as the will of the Party and the state achieved a fundamental change, which brought about a series of pragmatic development strategies and continuous and efficient economic policies, realized the great institutional change from a planned economy to a socialist market economy, and promoted the unprecedented sustained and rapid growth of China's economy.
