This book takes ancient Chinese teaching thought as the object, studies the development process of ancient teaching philosophy from the pre-Qin period to the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and relies on this to find the ideological basis for teaching facts and teaching actions, and explain and construct the discourse system and expression methods of Chinese teaching philosophy. This book follows the research method of combining diachronic and synchronic research, focuses on the logical system that unifies the teaching concept and teaching operation ideas, and starts from the development process and basic problems of ancient Chinese teaching philosophy. Specifically, it includes the research content of five parts: retrospective, foundation, core, pursuit and rheological of Chinese teaching philosophy. The intervention from the perspective of history is helpful to properly combine the examination from today's theoretical position with the real investigation of the object, and then explore and interpret the spiritual essence of ancient Chinese teaching philosophy from the dynamic process of the generation, change and development of ancient teaching philosophy, and find the necessary historical and cultural foundation for Chinese teaching philosophy to follow its own path.
