孟东方

中国特色社会主义理论，是中国共产党人在马克思列宁主义指导下，在经济文化比较落后的中国艰辛探索建设社会主义的理论结晶，是中国共产党最可宝贵的政治和精神财富，是凝聚全国各族人民为做好中国发展各项工作、为协调推进“四个全面”战略布局、为实现“两个一百年”奋斗目标和实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦而共同奋斗的思想基础。马克思在《1844年经济学哲学手稿》指出：“理论的对立本身的解决，只有通过实践方式，只有借助于人的实践力量，才是可能的。”因此，对这一宏大理论深入的认识与理解、科学的阐释与论证、必然的丰富与发展、有效的传播与普及，是社会科学研究者的重要责任与使命。

重庆中国特色社会主义理论研究中心，作为重庆市人民政府人文社科重点研究基地，长期以来始终致力于中国特色社会主义基本理论与前沿问题的研究，即以马克思主义中国化与中国发展理论与实践研究（重庆发展研究）、中国特色社会主义政治理论体系研究、中国特色社会主义文化学科体系建设研究、中国特色社会主义社会学科体系建设研究及高等学校马克思主义理论宣传、教学、实践和研究等为导向，以基础理论研究为根基，以现实运用研究为突破，积极促进人才的培养和成长，体现出鲜明的个性特色。特别是近年来，“中心”科研人员在中国特色社会主义的理论研究与实践研究方面，取得了一系列有影响的研究成果，为丰富和发展中国特色社会主义理论作出了积极贡献。

展望未来，这一理论将伴随着中国特色社会主义建设的实践推进而不断的丰富和发展，理论的研究也将跟进和加强。以马克思主义的系统观和发展观来审视这一理论，成为“中心”科研人员的共识。在这一视角下，人的发展、政治发展、经济发展、文化发展、社会发展、生态建设和执政党建设等范畴，将被“中心”科研人员置于社会发展规律、社会主义建设规律和执政党建设规律中，予以科学的思考和研究，创作出一系列具有中国特色的成果，贡献于这一伟大的理论与伟大的实践。

推出重庆中国特色社会主义理论研究中心文库是本“中心”的责任所在，其资助旨在使这些研究中的具有特色的优秀成果能及时地予以转化。诚然，出版重庆中国特色社会主义理论研究中心文库是极其艰辛的一项工作，因为理论的苦涩与实践的艰难是并存的。而历史的责任与作为社会科学理论者的担当和良知将使我们每一步的付出和努力，都应真实而科学地表达这一社会的进步，使中国特色社会主义这一理论展示它旺盛的生命活力。

Meng Dongfang's theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the theoretical crystallization of the Chinese Communists' arduous exploration and construction of socialism under the guidance of Marxism-Leninism in economically and culturally backward China, the most valuable political and spiritual wealth of the Communist Party of China, and the ideological basis for rallying the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country to do a good job in all aspects of China's development, to coordinate and promote the "four comprehensive" strategic layout, to realize the "two centenary goals" and to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Marx pointed out in the 1844 Manuscript of Economic Philosophy: "The solution of the opposition of theory itself is possible only through practical means, only with the help of the practical power of man." Therefore, in-depth knowledge and understanding of this grand theory, scientific interpretation and argumentation, inevitable enrichment and development, effective dissemination and popularization are important responsibilities and missions of social science researchers. Chongqing Theoretical Research Center for Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, as the key research base of humanities and social sciences of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, has long been committed to the research of the basic theory and frontier issues of socialism with Chinese characteristics, namely, the research on the theory and practice of Marxism in Sinicization and Chinese development (Chongqing Development Research), the research on the political theory system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the research on the construction of the socialist cultural discipline system with Chinese characteristics, the research on the construction of the socialist social discipline system with Chinese characteristics, and the theoretical propaganda of Marxism in colleges and universities , teaching, practice and research as the guide, with basic theoretical research as the foundation, realistic application research as a breakthrough, actively promote the cultivation and growth of talents, reflecting distinctive personality characteristics. Especially in recent years, the scientific researchers of the "Center" have achieved a series of influential research results in the theoretical and practical research of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and have made positive contributions to the enrichment and development of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Looking forward to the future, this theory will be continuously enriched and developed along with the practical advancement of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and the research of theory will also follow up and strengthen. Examining this theory from the perspective of Marxist systems and development has become the consensus of "center" researchers. From this perspective, the categories of human development, political development, economic development, cultural development, social development, ecological construction and ruling party building will be scientifically considered and studied by the "center" scientific researchers in the law of social development, socialist construction and ruling party building, and a series of achievements with Chinese characteristics will be created to contribute to this great theory and practice. The launch of the Chongqing Research Center for Theoretical Research on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is the responsibility of the Center, and its funding aims to enable the outstanding results of these studies to be transformed in a timely manner. It is true that publishing the library of the Chongqing Theoretical Research Center for Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is an extremely arduous task, because the bitterness of theory and the difficulty of practice coexist. The responsibility of history and the responsibility and conscience of social science theorists will make every step of our efforts and efforts truly and scientifically express the progress of this society, so that the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics can display its vigorous vitality. We work hard, we are confident, we will definitely do better.
