《中国农村研究》系由教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地、华中师范大学中国农村研究院主办的大型学术集刊，由中国社会科学出版社出版。经教育部、中国社会科学评价中心遴选，本刊以社会学学科类学术集刊类别入选“中文社会科学引文索引”（CSSCI）目录。《中国农村研究》一年两卷。单位或个人需订阅者，请直接向出版社订阅。
本刊是关于中国农村研究的社科类综合刊物，以学理研究为宗旨，以实证研究为特色，以不断推进农村研究为目标。内容涉及农村政治、经济、社会、文化诸领域，设置“当代中国农村关键词”、“百村跟踪调查”等特色栏目，近期特别关注新型城镇化、新农村建设、农村社区建设、农村减贫与发展、农村治理、农村基层民主、城乡一体治理、变动中的农村社会与文化、域外农村发展等专题。

China Rural Studies is a large-scale academic journal sponsored by the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education and the China Rural Research Institute of Central China Normal University, and published by China Social Science Press. Selected by the Ministry of Education and the China Social Science Evaluation Centre, the journal has been listed in the Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI) as an academic journal in the discipline of sociology. China Rural Studies is published in two volumes a year. If you would like to subscribe to the journal, please do so directly with the publisher.

The journal is a comprehensive social science journal on rural research in China, with the aim of academic research, empirical research as its speciality, and the continuous promotion of rural research as its goal.
