This book is a survey report on the development of family farms in China in 2019, co-edited by the Department of Policy and Reform of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Institute of Rural Development of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It is divided into three parts: development report, local experience, and theoretical articles.

The Development Report of Chinese Family Farms has been published for five consecutive years. Through the changes in data and professional analyses, it can provide a glimpse of the overall development landscape and trends of Chinese family farms in recent years, and is of some reference value for research in agriculture and rural areas.
