发生在20世纪30年代的中国左翼电影和电影批评是中国艺术史和电影史,乃至政治文化史上重大的历史事件,相关研究也持续了80多个春秋。本书立足于当下中国电影的现实语境,从文化研究视角对“左翼影评”这一现象进行专题研究,系统梳理其发生、发展的历史,阐发其中蕴涵的政治文化、主体文化、审美文化思想,突出对其“国族话语”“启蒙话语”“影像话语”等权力话语意义生成的开掘。在坚持唯物史观充分肯定“左翼影评”历史合法性的同时,本书对其现代性表征作出理性概括,并反思其历史局限性,尝试建构左翼电影理论批评的体系化科学化形态。

Chinese left-wing cinema and film criticism in the 30s of the 20th century is a major historical event in China's art and film history, as well as political and cultural history, and related research has lasted for more than 80 spring and autumn years. Based on the actual context of current Chinese films, this book conducts a special study on the phenomenon of "left-wing film criticism" from the perspective of cultural studies, systematically sorts out the history of its occurrence and development, expounds the political culture, subject culture, and aesthetic cultural ideas contained therein, and highlights the excavation of the meaning of power discourse such as "national discourse", "enlightenment discourse" and "image discourse".
