Zhang Xiao's Review of China Environment and Development (Volume V) (hereinafter referred to as the "Review") addresses the "short board" of China's environment and development - China's rural ecological and environmental problems. At the problem level, we organized a group of scholars at home and abroad to conduct independent analysis and discussion on water, soil, grassland, carbon emissions, livestock products, fertilizers, agricultural science and technology, etc.; In order to reveal the profound national characteristics behind rural environmental problems and the context of international agricultural development, this volume of commentary expands the background analysis and research. In addition to the usual macro perspective, this volume of commentary highlights typical case studies with distinctive micro characteristics, all of which are positive rather than mere comments. The focus on the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, macro data and micro case studies, is a feature of the reviews in this volume. There is no doubt that China's agricultural and rural development has made remarkable achievements. However, the cost, especially in rural areas and farmers, is very large, and ecological and environmental problems are only an important part of it. In the past, there were few group-like and systematic results in relevant domestic research. We hope that the publication of this volume will lead to more attention to the safety of rural ecological and environmental security, as well as more research on long-term, strategic and sustainable issues. The reviews of this volume are curated by Zhang Xiao and form the framework of the book, responsible for organizing the author and reviewing. Zheng Yuxin and Zhang Xiao from the Research Center for Environment and Development, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Zhao Jingxing from the Institute of Quantitative and Technical Economics, and Guo Xiaomin from the Ministry of Environmental Protection participated in the review. This volume is funded by the Key Research Office of Economic Policy and Simulation, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Here, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the academic colleagues and people from all walks of life who have long paid attention to and supported the China Environment and Development Review. At the same time, special thanks to Professor Wang Tongsan, former director of the Institute of Quantitative and Technical Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, researcher Li Ping, current director, researcher Li Xuesong, deputy director, and researcher Guo Xiaomin of the Ministry of Environmental Protection for their consistent support and assistance to China Environment and Development Review. Finally, I would like to thank Director Ren Ming of China Social Sciences Press for his publishing support. March 20, 2012(AI翻译)
