This book places the cause of rural education in the macro background of China's rural social reform and development in the past century, conducts historical investigation and logical analysis, comprehensively and systematically outlines the context of China's rural education and transformation in the past hundred years, selects the typical theme of rural education in the period of rural social change and transformation for detailed discussion, pays attention to the reflection on the process and characteristics, content and methods, experience and lessons of rural education, and strives to achieve mutual verification of views and facts, unity of history and logic, and combination of macro and micro. This book can make up for the lack of systematic research on the century-old transmutation of rural education in China, expand the scope of education history research, and help deepen the research of rural education.
