中国电影因其独特的建构与想象,成为国家形象建构体系的重要组成部分。它以丰富的影像话语和系统的媒介建构,沉淀为中国国家形象的影像记忆,并凝聚为全球化语境中的中国自我民族史志之一。
中国电影国家形象的想象与建构基于国家形象类地球圈层结构生态体系模式的建模。它以1978年新时期以来的35年(1978年-2013年)作为时间区间,以11大国际电影节获奖为标准,表现为“人像”(艺术形象、明星形象、导演形象为主)、“族像”(藏族形象为典型)、“空间形象”(以村落形象、县镇形象和台湾形象为构成的区域形象,以及北京、上海为代表的城市形象为主干)、“符号形象”(以场景符号、语言符号和音乐符号为主)和“产业像”(由产品数量、票房、市场占有率和管理体制等构成)为内容的整体建构。
